Race Committee Info

Overall Info
Race Committee should meet at Zanheiser's Yachting Center at 5pm on Race Day. The committee boat takes about 20 minutes to warm up, and there are some special startup procedures you need to follow. You also must be a member of SMSA, and have a valid motorboat license to operate the committee boat. If you cannot satisfy these requirements, arrangements can be made to have someone there who does. Generally, 5 people is a good number to have on board. Arranging a mark boat can be a big help as well for Thursday nights. Onboard are usually paper, pencils, flags, and marks. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING - a digital watch, a whistle, and backup writing utensils. Contact your Smallboat Race Chair for more info.
