More InfoSMSA's home is a 4200 sq ft clubhouse located across from the boardwalk gazeebo on Solomons Island, MD.
The clubhouse includes a front social room with a bar, HD TVs, projector, wifi; multi-purpose room with kids corner, foosball table, and air hockey; a social kitchen; and rooms for sail storage and junior boats.
In addition to being a great venue for sailing and club social events, the clubhouse is a great place to to host a Baby Shower, Reception or just hold a party! The clubhouse front room and mulit-purpose rooms are available for rent to SMSA members for member use events such as birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation, etc. Members may also sponsor clubhouse rental by non-member individuals or organizations (clubs, meetings, seminars, etc.). Usage and rental shall not conflict with other scheduled events at SMSA.
The clubhouse has a liquor license and operating bar. All alcohol consumed on premises must be purchased via SMSA. For any event where use of alcohol or the SMSA Bar is desired, the member shall coordinate with the Bar Manager a minimum of two weeks in advance of the event to coordinate beverage order requests. A person with a valid TAMS certification must be on premise during events where alcohol is served. A list of fee-for-service bartenders is available from the Bar Manager.

The SMSA Dry Storage yard has storage for dingy sailboats. The yard also holds the club 420s, Sunfish, and safety power boats.
Launching is available using the 1-ton jib crane with manual hoist or the dinghy ramp for boats on a dolly.
All personally owned boats must be 20 ft. or less. Storage fees are paid annually for space from April - March.

SMSA has 5 wet slips available for rent by SMSA members. The docks are also home to the club Holder 20s.
Slip depths range from 2-ft to more than 7-ft. Electric is available.
Slip fees are $4.25 per foot per month with a 20ft minimum and an annual storage contract (April - March)
