Stovy Brown's report:
It was a delightful race. We finished before any of the boats from Annapolis made it.
We never tacked or jibed in the entire race; just a nice port tack with and without spinnaker as the wind shifted. The wind was westerly for most of the way up to Sharps Island, going to the northwest just before we were at the lighthouse. Then it was a beam reach into the Choptank and a one tack fetch up the Tred Avon.
After finishing, we turned around and made it back to Solomons by 9pm.
